Great experience
Claire is an absolutely brilliant instructor! Very calm, clear, and informative. She created a relaxed environment that made learning enjoyable rather than stressful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive. Claire even went out of her way to drop off a congratulations card later in the day after I passed, which was a really nice touch!

Starting my driving journey
I would recommend Claire as your driving instructor if you are looking for a friendly, kind and patient driving instructor. Claire is always so positive when I am learning with her and she has really helped me feel confident in my ability to learn to drive well. I started to learn to drive aged 43 and I was not sure how fast I would pick it up. I tried an introductory package with Claire and I quickly realised that I would be able to learn to drive, and that Claire is an enthusiastic and committed instructor to learn with. Claire finds great routes where I can practice within my comfort zone but also stretch my driving skills. I try to take on the new challenges she suggests and it has been amazing to see how much of a difference this has made to my skills and how fast I am learning. What has helped is having a driving instructor who is so confident in my abilities to learn and who is always clear that I am safe on the road, even when I have felt anxious. I can hardly believe how much progress I have made. About LDC I like the LDC student-centred learner driver system. Every week I can choose a section or two to read up on and it helps me have an idea of what I need to know. I like the weekly reflections you have to do in the book because it makes me analyse what I did in the lesson, what could be improved, what I am unexpectedly good at. It helps me consolidate my skills. Being able to check off things in the book means I don't miss anything. My instructor is also free to take a lead on suggesting what areas I am ready to start on next, so with LDC it's the best of both worlds. It actually feels easier when it is partly up to me what I learn because I can learn at a comfortable pace and I don't feel under pressure.

My instructor, is excellent she helps a lot with finding things that could help me in terms of little tricks to help remember or timings that fit my schedule. The LDC work book is very helpful for planing or consolidating any theoretical knowledge for driving. The videos are very helpful for seeing better how to do things especially when rewinding to see small bits again.

While doing my lessons with Claire, She makes me feel comfortable and confident, she is really supportive. In the workbook I think it shares a lot of helpful information, to help choose my way of learning. Claire helps me understand and learn more each lesson, growing my confidence each time.
